Saying good by to a friend is never easy. This morning I had to let my 15 year old daughter pass into the hands of the lord. With her health failing and very arthritic it was time to give her back to god. She went peacefully looking at me with love in her eyes as she fell in a deep sleep.

Saturday, July 26th 2008, the non-profit organization, the Stanislaus County Animal Services Auxiliary held a Mobile Spay & Neuter Clinic from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the airport neighborhood. The operations were offered at $5, and rabies shots at $2 for those that could provide proof of public assistance or poverty.

It’s a little after 10AM and my Air conditioner just kicked on! The heat is coming & by Wednesday it should be one Hot Mother Hubbard. Please be mindful of the heat; Please make sure your drinking plenty of water & give those seniors in your life a call. Let them know that the heat is on and they should take precautions now for this weeks scorcher. Also, Please! Please make sure our pets have plenty of fresh water and have a place to chill in a shaded area. Please..

Fundraiser for Stanislaus County Humane Society: Friday Night Beer Tasting at Angels' Share Wine Shop

Please help support the Stanislaus County Humane Society with Angels' Share Wine Shop. Friday, April 11th, Angels' Share is hosting a beer tasting--Flying Dog Brewery--and raffle fundraiser to help unwanted, abused, and neglected pets. For a $15 tasting fee, you will sample 7 different Flying Dog beers. Angels' Share will donate 33% of your tasting fee to the Humane Society. Angels' Share will also donate 33% of any Flying Dog "bottled" beer sold during the event. Dog and cat themed wine will also be available by the glass, with a portion of sales donated to the Humane Society. $1 raffle tickets will be sold for some great prizes! Please help support this worthy event. Even if you don't drink beer or wine but care about animals, you can help by dropping off a donation check made out to Stanislaus County Humane Society.

Let us not forget our 4 legged friends! I would like to remind all of you to PLEASE bring in your pets during the Artic Blast that is Coming. Our Animals are so precious to us.
They Are There..
They are there when were down, They are there when were sick, they are there even if we neglect them. They are there unconditionally! Let us be there for them when it’s cold outside.
