Harlotfest XVI is a rugby tournament we hold every year for the past 16 years. The longest lasting of its kind, basicly you put your name into a hat and get selected onto a team. You dont actually dont eneter as a team, we provide one for you. Although this is an indivials tournament, nothing could be further from the truth. People from all walks of life come to Modesto and play in our one of a kind event.

Summer is upon us, and now on Friday nights at The Sunset Lounge, located inside The Red Lion Hotel, The "Summer Acoustic Series" begins. Four weeks of great acoustic shows from your local artists. Starting June 22nd til July 13th, these four acoustic shows will start at 9:00PM and go until 1:00AM in the morning. Each show there will be a small $3.00 Cover.
Jon Valenti will be hosting and playing in these shows, with other artists such as; Jeff Bonilla (Sapo Sueno), Not An Airplane, Tara Tinsley (2006 MAMA Award Winner), Aaron Durr (2006 MAMA Nominee), Ricky Berger (recently on Good Day Sacramento), Asphodel, Rachel Renae, and Maybe Dallas.
The Sunset Lounge is located in The nice Red Lion Hotel on Sisk Road, right next to Outback Steakhouse & Black Angus. The Lounge is a nice place with plenty of seating and tables. It also has a full bar with below average liquor prices. It is also equipped with a dance floor which will be used to dance during or after the show.
So come out and support your local musicians and enjoy a great night of music.

The Sunset Lounge inside The Red Lion Hotel brings to you a new summer acoustic series on Friday nights. Jon Valenti will leaving the Modesto Sports Bar, and taking his new summer series shows to The Sunset Lounge. All summer long Jon Valenti will be hosting local artists, as well as artists from northern California to bring you great acoustic shows. The shows will start at 9:00 PM and go until 1:00 AM in the morning. The Sunset Lounge is a nice lounge set with plenty of seating and tables to enjoy the show. It includes a full bar with great atmosphere with a dance floor for breaking out some cool moves to music. So stay on the look out for Jon's upcoming shows!

I road though drycreek last night at midnight.. it was frigging SCARY.
