I was wondering if you could remind everyone to visit the ongoing art gallery/show in Oakdale at Kara's Skin Care Studio, featuring local artists David Rodriguez, Joey Huestis, and jewelry designer Donna Celli. The show ends September 13th.

Michelle Uber from Modesto Certified Farmer's Market called today, will be doing a new ART at the Farmer's Market Saturday, August 23, 2008. Art displays will be set up in the Library Parking Lot, is for sale, and looking for artists and crafters for the event.

Great Shopping Art Walk night at State Theatre. http://www.theState.org . Scheduled music guest Joelle Maddyson just emailed she has bronchitis, has to cancel, so come shop our local designers on display.

Karen Cox will be demonstrating printmaking in monoprints at Act of Kindness at 619 14th Street. David Bienkowski will be doing an oil painting demonstration at Anderson's Gallery and Frame Shop for Art Walk. I may be doing some sketching and watercolors over at Clayton's.

Art Walk at the State Theatre features fashion, jewelry, designers, and music by Joelle Maddyson. Roster for the July 17 Downtown Modesto Third Thursday Art Walk, includes Pork Chop Rules, Applesauce, Mama Cow, Mama Black, Mama Bird Designs, DC Originals, 2Dy4 Art by a Drama Queen, O Jewelry, Allies Buttons, and more.

Artists, Crafters, Call for Artists from the Visually Impaired Persons Support Center, on 14th Street in Modesto, CA across from Act of Kindness (a usual 8 of 12 month Third Thursday Art Walk spot) is holding a fundraiser prior to Mother's Day.

The new poster finally out....... more art walk to come. Dropped a draft copy of to Jon Valenti at Speak Easy tonight, see him next Thursday Night, at the State Theatre, with artists on display.

Noticed Jean Jay and Nita Gunnarson among instructors in the community ed class schedule for MJC, page 9 through 11, and look pretty good value for art ed, or time to paint.  I myself, likely to take the blues harmonica class for a change, good buy on c harps for $11 along with class fee.
