The latest one is scheduled Sept 11, free to public, on Eating Disorders, what they are, what one can do. If you know someone with this issue, good place to get information, as that is what Scott's effort is about, education on these topics.

AVERAGE house price, but check the car...........

Artist is noted to do real estate lookups for fun, just to see what my average house is worth if nothing else. Average price in modesto last month was $370,000 but market started in on these gimmicks to get you to buy, as quite a few out there. So.....remember we had a bust last month, evidently houses, cars, well, on the front page of yesterday's RE section, this ad made me wonder, 4/2 house, 374k, but besides all the great features, built in 2004, call realtor for details on the new mercedes that comes with right offer. Odd bonus to go with the average priced house in Modesto. I have a bike.

Chessplayer in town, what to do for your birthday, AARP and other items

My brother Larry, still in top ten of US Chessplayers, former US champ 3 times visiting here from Boston, to see mom, and my birthday, has been taking a bit of time out from his tournament schedule, to revisit hardly his hometown as some have claimed, but where we moved to from Riverside, now 30 years ago, and see mom. Some of his schedule involves playing Golf with my brother who works at the City's parks dept. and he was so damned excited, scored his first birdie out in Escalon. Use that course beginners, they have been trying to drag me out there all week, since the used clubs showed up for my birthday, year 2 of my AARP eligibility.
