OK so IM going through all of my blogs here at Modesto Famous. Oh my gosh.. If I had as much money as I have blogs that I have put up here, I would be a billionaire. Smiles.. Anywho, I found this one I put up awhile back and it brought smiles to my face. Smiles and laughter is where its at friends. Here it is again and I invite you to read it and feel good, life’s too short to worry about the things that are what they are. Just give it to God.. That’s another blog IM working on here.. I thought Chris Ricci wrote a great piece on some important considerations on downtown Modesto entertainment district and importance to the economy, what additional help from City, et al might further help this cause.

The Modesto Bee's entertainment section stories this week: on the cover Indie Fest, Off The Air's Birthday, and the Pink Floyd tribute show at the Gallo Center?

Does anyone even listen to "indie" music? I sure as hell don't know anyone. Is this how the Modesto Bee is getting in touch with a younger audience? Two "indie" music stories in one week???

I Very Much Enjoyed this weekends Paper. Saturday’s paper featured children’s drawings of what faith meant to them. Very Cool! Sundays was a great! I made a fire, had my morning coffee and enjoyed reading the paper with yogi bear playing on the wall.

City Council Member Brad Hawn is current president of the central california art association, the local group, I rejoined this year, but had been a member of back in the days it was located in the McHenry Museum basement, where the column has him quoted we didn't show nudes there....WRONG.....

I have been greatly saddened from reading so many
letters over these past several months in the
Modesto Bee's opinion section regarding
immigrants and immigration.

I refuse to believe that these hate-fueled views
of our defunct immigration system reflect any
type of consensus among members of our community,
nor do I believe that any of these letters offer
up any positive or productive perspectives.

The Bee is writing a story about where to see comedy in the area. I wanted to get your feedback on places that host regular stand-up shows.
