Comedian JUDY TENUTA - - one night only!

Judy Tenuta, star of Broadway, film, and television, will perform one night only at the historic State Theatre in downtown Modesto, on Friday, May 4th at 8:00 PM. Tenuta, full of ribald humor, is known by audiences for such things as being carried onstage by scantily-clad, sculpted men, and for her on-stage accordion skits. She calls herself a “lesbetarian and has even got her own religion, “Judyism. Joan Rivers calls her “the funniest person in the world, and she was the first stand-up comedienne ever to be named “Best Female Comedian at the American Comedy Awards. He’s one of those rare performers whose mere appearance signals laughter on the way.
