Summer is upon us, and now on Friday nights at The Sunset Lounge, located inside The Red Lion Hotel, The "Summer Acoustic Series" begins. Four weeks of great acoustic shows from your local artists. Starting June 22nd til July 13th, these four acoustic shows will start at 9:00PM and go until 1:00AM in the morning. Each show there will be a small $3.00 Cover.
Jon Valenti will be hosting and playing in these shows, with other artists such as; Jeff Bonilla (Sapo Sueno), Not An Airplane, Tara Tinsley (2006 MAMA Award Winner), Aaron Durr (2006 MAMA Nominee), Ricky Berger (recently on Good Day Sacramento), Asphodel, Rachel Renae, and Maybe Dallas.
The Sunset Lounge is located in The nice Red Lion Hotel on Sisk Road, right next to Outback Steakhouse & Black Angus. The Lounge is a nice place with plenty of seating and tables. It also has a full bar with below average liquor prices. It is also equipped with a dance floor which will be used to dance during or after the show.
So come out and support your local musicians and enjoy a great night of music.

The sunset came just as a I was about to drive through La Grange this past Thursday on J132. I was returning from the montains near Yosemite. Watching the sunset made me want to be driving in the opposite direction.
