Modesto, CA, October 24, 2008: "Rock Concert Pianist" Scott D. Davis will perform his concert piano arrangements of songs by thrash-metal icons Metallica, on Thursday, November 6, at the Fat Cat, 930 11th Street in Modesto. Doors open at 6 p.m. The one-man, solo piano set is part of an evening of progressive heavy metal music, headlined by Etched in Red. For the first time in front of a live audience, Davis’ will perform Metallica’s iconic “Master of Puppets" in it’s entirety; lighting fast guitar solos and all, using only a grand piano. Davis has released four solo piano albums to date. His most recent is “Pianotarium: Piano Tribute to Metallica."
