We often worry about many things in our life that we can’t control. It’s one of our simplest flaws as human beings. I imagine that many people must think from my blogs here that I live my life problem free. That everything must come easy for me & my wife. This is far from the truth. We are no different then any other being on earth, we love, we cry, we laugh, work hard and we breath the same air you all breath.

Display and sell your artwork for just $35 at Stanislaus Pride Day on September 27th 2008! Don't miss this opportunity, with over 3,000 people expected at this year's event this is a chance to get people interested in your work. For just $35 you will recieve a 10X10 space to promote and sell your art without commission charges. Share a booth with a friend and split the cost! FYI Modesto! The Crystal Method is coming to Modesto.. IM told October is the the month for the Crystal..
Me, I often listen to them while IM working out.. Keep your ears & eyes open for more information on the when, where and how much.. I was told it’s October 5th.. & it will have one of Modesto’s best club DJ’s opening up for them..

Black and White, theme at Photographers Gallery this month and Art Walk

New theme for this month is Black and White at the Photographers' Gallery at 13th and J Street, attached to Camera Center next door. This is nonprofit gallery, has workshops as well, so if into photography, stop in, and check that out too, get on their gallery guru email list, which note below is from. Often think their cuisine on art walk night first rate too.

Funky Tim is our music guest for downtown Art Walk at State Theatre. Artists include art demo by Jack Morris, Mary Scheinuck, Jim Christiansen, Carlos Mendes Salcedo, Ellie Gould. Slater's Furniture has added to the list of art walk venues, and drop in on Clayton's and Etouffee, DEVA, Picasso's, Lost Art Gallery, Trewin Framery, Anderson's Gallery and Frame Shop, the Chartreuse Muse, Mistlin Gallery, more.

OK so I was recently contacted by a few webmasters as well as a couple of investors. The Thought is, lets make a new site for people to blog and post more about what’s going on in Modesto and the Surrounding Communities. Me, I am all for it and I am flattered that they contacted me. Me, I have loads of great ideas here that would really make a site like this grow beyond expectation. Modesto Famous is a wonderful place to blog friends, but I am thinking it’s time that Modesto needs a site that blogs and promotes more than what’s in the best interest for themselves verses for a starving Music and Arts community that needs to keep growing.
