ART DEMOS on Art Walk, printmaking, painting

Karen Cox will be demonstrating printmaking in monoprints at Act of Kindness at 619 14th Street. David Bienkowski will be doing an oil painting demonstration at Anderson's Gallery and Frame Shop for Art Walk. I may be doing some sketching and watercolors over at Clayton's.

I just watched the MPD Equestrian Division and I very much enjoyed it.

It’s a little after 10AM and my Air conditioner just kicked on! The heat is coming & by Wednesday it should be one Hot Mother Hubbard. Please be mindful of the heat; Please make sure your drinking plenty of water & give those seniors in your life a call. Let them know that the heat is on and they should take precautions now for this weeks scorcher. Also, Please! Sam PIerstorff, The Final Days As Poet Laureate of Modesto

I guess Ed Bearden the new poet laureate be ok, but I just put him in the letter to the editor, as he's the new appointee to be Poet Laureate of Modesto and because Slam on Rye, and outgoing poet laureate Sam Pierstorff has some "juice" with the Bee, finally got a cartoon on their editorial page in the Print edition. See a printed copy of the Bee, better than the online version. Anyway, the "retired" er, fir/. uh, Ed got the next term, after four years great service from Sam. So, my letter, version of gold watch, which is same drawing in gilded frame I was going to drop by his office at MJC, only to still have it to give him July 12.
