Blues is Survivor music, and Vintage Blues Band playing a fundraiser for the Alano Club dual diagnosis group down in Ceres. This place is all ages, nice price, and see the poster, you'll get the gist for clean and sober blues festivities. JB will be there for this one, warm up for the blues festival, but down in CERES, fun time.

Kind of interesting that the west side implications for the Crows Landing Air Field development failed to consider improvements, traffic to most direct link to Modesto, Ceres in all this, Crows Landing Road. Also to Highway 99 from the truck and intermodal rail facility.

In recent months, articles have come up, as have issues before two City councils, Ceres and modesto for water filtration treatment discussion, to dillute or have that with a filter. Its related to air quality, but not smoking, but what to do about Heavy Metal, ....and our water. Seems we have Uranium, and if we enrich it, perhaps a new deterrent for the cops to use, or ignite bands and artists and poets to muse on. Comments welcome as always on my blog.

The family of Juana Navarro is broken and hurt today as they try to put their lives back together in Ceres. Navarro was the second woman and 15th person to be killed in Iraq from the Northern San Joaquin Valley. She died after getting shot in the head by small arms fire.
