One of my favorite features of this site is the area in which we display "Famous Photos." These are all user-submitted works and they are all taken from our Flickr.com photo group. I just got a phone call from one of our favorite local photographers, Shootenpicsbob, whose work we feature often. He called to tell me that he had organized a photo expedition heading to Berkley today that will include other members of our photo group.

As you can see, I just changed the main photos on this page to showcase some beautiful art from throughout the valley. We now have over 1,200 photos from 89 photographers to choose from!

Stay tuned throughout the day and check to see if our cool new feature is up and active. I will be linking to photos in our Flickr.com photo group that were taken out on the town the previous night. The National Weather Service is predicting rain through Tuesday and then again next weekend. This might be a good weekend to just stay home and cuddle up on the couch with a stack of movies.

Hola! Here we are on Monday morning and Modesto is all bright and shiny outside. Rumor has it that the clouds will rush in soon and soak us to the bone but do we care? Not when we can duck into a local club and get lost in music or hold ourselves captive in a coffee house somewhere!
