The New Mascot for the Modesto Bee Did ya here
Hello, so Nat & I where farting around here after mass a last Sunday and we where discussing how sad that so many of my friends at the bee will be making their way from The Modesto Bee.. Not sure if you heard this, But The Modesto Bee's Mascot recently decided to take the buy out offer as well.. OMG! At first, I was bummed.. But only God knows what he does and why he does it. So, on that note, I decide to go down and apply Monday morning at The Modesto Bee for the mascot job in questioned. See pic below.

WOW make sure you pick up a copy of The Modesto Bee! It promises to have some very interesting pieces in it. & as far as The Scene, It is suppose to have some of This, That & The other thing in it this Friday. "This, That & The other thing" OK so maybe ok got that line from Giligan.. Smiles.. Still, The Scene will have some cool stuff in it. How do I know? Cause I take The Modesto Bee & read on what's coming up for Friday.. IM taking The Bee, I’m thinking you should take it too..

A Staycation at The Fair

Thinking of taking your family on a vacation. How about a long drive to the mountains or maybe a cool drive along the cost. Me and me wife planed to do just this. We though we would jump in our convertible & head to the mountains for a few days. OK so cool, we packed up and jumped in to our VW and we got as far as the gas station on the corner. Sadly, after filling up the tank at $5.00 a gallon, I looked into my wallet and I was broke! LOL yes folks a Stacation/Stay-Vacation might be just what the Doctor Ordered in this tight ecconmy.

A Day for Reflection
Looks like everything went OK at Xfest last night. TBTG.. Hey, I just read Juliann’s Xfile.. I’m so proud to know her. It’s a great Xfile! Well, I just got up here and gave thanks to my Lord and Savior for another wonderful day he has blessed me with. I also gave him thanks that all went well last night for Modesto’s show goers. Everyone was safe, happy and it went well. TBTG. At about 11PM I started to see Xfest goers arrive at Minnie’s. Ya, I was there DJ’ing the Beyer High 25 year reunion. WOW it was so much fun, & ya, they all grooved hard core and you could see it in their face. “Smiles" well, time for my Sunday 10K run here then I’m off to Church. Have a great day and here is a shout out for Mr. Chris Ricci for putting together another safe show. TBTG

So you don’t know of the artist that’s playing for that night at Queen Bean.. So your part of another band and are to cool to be seen at someone else’s show. Big deal.. Get over it. LOL

What I am talking about is the Air we are breathing Modesto Famous. It’s choking us! Please be mindful of how much time you spend outside friends. Also, please keep an eye on our children that might suffer from asthma. Parents, don’t forget your inhaler & or theirs..

Friends, It’s important that we recognize this and support the ones that are still out there hanging on. I Love Modesto!

So I was downtown this morning for The 3rd stage of the Amgen Tour! WOW! How exciting! I’m thinking, half of Modesto must have called in sick today from work. LOL If not, they probably should have or even taken the day off. Today was a very proud day to be a Modesto Citizen. It was so thrilling to see all of these world class cyclists. If you weren’t able to be there yourself, I took some amazing photos of one of Modesto’s Proudest days.
