5000 Jobs are Coming to Modesto

Rumor has it that the new Wal-Mart Super Store will open at the beginning of October at the end of McHenry across from Signature Theaters. The new Wal-Mart will combine both large units where the Payless and a hardware store was. Or if you’re an old dude like me, where Bino’s & New Deals Market once stood back in the 1970’s Anywho, with the new Wal-Mart opening in Modesto, it will bring in some 5000 new job positions Modesto could really use. OK so some might say its big time companies that are putting little companies out of business. But hey! Look around, how many for lease signs have you spotted lately in business locations. To many too count! It simple to see that Modesto needs more jobs right now, and more jobs mean more money to flow in our local economy. Regardless, it is what it is & I will always try to look for that sunshine, even on a cloudy day..

OK so IM going through all of my blogs here at Modesto Famous. Oh my gosh.. If I had as much money as I have blogs that I have put up here, I would be a billionaire. Smiles.. Anywho, I found this one I put up awhile back and it brought smiles to my face. Smiles and laughter is where its at friends. Here it is again and I invite you to read it and feel good, life’s too short to worry about the things that are what they are. Just give it to God.. That’s another blog IM working on here.. Looks like we are going to be part of a Historical Tradition here in Modesto tomorrow. Look for me in the 4th of July Parade! Hurray! Me, I will dress up like the Statue of Liberty and Run around sporting some double DD’s and handing out flags. LOL NO, not really..
