I’m heading to the front lines

Well, it’s Friday morning and IM getting my battle gear together to head out this weekend to collectively fight cancer! I feel pretty good and my spirit is strong and I am determined to do the best I can for my community and for those who are battling with this dieses. Me, I will be up for 24 hours starting Saturday morning at 9AM till the closing ceremony on Sunday morning at 9AM. Will I get tired? Sure I will; Will I take my body to an extreme? Sure I will; Will I shed a tear at the luminary ceremony? For sure; Will I work hard to make sure everyone is having a great time; Most defiantly; will I lose my voice by Sunday morning? Guaranteed. For me, I look at it as being in an iron man completion for life and the true winners that are in this fight with me are the ones who are suffering from this terrible dieses. They are the one’s who still find the energy to help their kids with their homework after kimo.. They are the ones who still sport a smile to their loved ones when they are in pain; They are the ones that we are fighting for! Please come out and join me tomorrow Modesto!

The Warm-up for The American Cancer Society Relay for Life in Modesto happens this Saturday June 14th
On the Bill, it’s Jon Velenti, Alyssa Poppin and Trees and Vines.. It all happens at Queen Bean Coffee House Modesto 95354. Doors open at 6PM and there is a $3.00 donation for the show. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls!

Art makes a great gift for Fathers Day

Ok so I was working last night and I got this crazy notion. Why not Art for a gift for dad. OK so my pop has just about everything he needs and isn’t very particular on what we get him as long as we are together. “Family" So, with that in mind I thought I would have a cartoon picture depicting me and my big headed self. LOL So humility is still one of my biggest strengths in business. Smiles. Anywho, I shared this pic with my sisters and it raised a giggle with them. Friend, don’t forget Art! Art is a great gift for dad regardless if his name is Phil, Bill, Ray or even Chewy. “Chewy‿ That’s a nick name for a fellow named Jesus. I have know idea why, but it is a Hispanic thing. What do you get for a man who has everything! That’s what runs through my head every year at Fathers day. Friends, here’s a an idea. Art makes a great gift for fathers day regardless if your dads name isn’t Art. Smiles.. OK so that’s dorky.. No worries, this year I will look to getting my Papa something he doesn’t have in his world. I’m looking to head out to the Art Walk within the next few weeks to see what catches my eye for him. Friends I am no Art critic what so ever. But, I know what I like and will buy it if it touches me and most important will do the same for my dad.

4000 Calories On Turkey Day

Greetings my friends, Heads up! & yes we have allot to be thankful for, but our bodies shouldn’t have to pay for it. Please folks; Eat & Drink Responsibly. The Average American will put away over 4000 calories in one seating today. A Heart Attack Danger! The Heart is are most ever so precious muscle. Lets be kind to it.

A Thankful Week

Well, another Holiday is upon us Charlie Brown. LOL I haven’t even finished my Halloween candy!

My friends, this Thanksgiving Holiday will be very much filled with a Thankful heart for me & my family. Our Mother has been very ill lately & my sister & I Pops too had been praying that moms illness wasn’t something terminal. She has had problems with her digestive system & after countless visits to the Doctors, they decided to do an MRI. All of us in the family had been holding our breath waiting for the results. Thanks be to God, they came back normal. Praise God! Well almost normal, but it is something that they can treat. This Thanksgiving, I will give thanks to the lord for my Mama, Popa & family.. Doggies too. For he is all so ever good to us & answered our prayers with our mother’s MRI. I don’t know what lies ahead folks & I try not to worry about it. Untimely It’s best if I just give it to God & trust him & thank him for all of his blessings. Big hugs going out to my sister Debra, She’s A wonderful sister & a wonderful Daughter to our mother. Despite how busy she is, she accompanies my father to all of my mothers Doctor appointments & visits Mom as often as she can. Thanks you for that sister, you be the oldest & the head of the 3. I love you!
