I’m going to lift! I’m going to Lift! I’m going to Lift!
OMG how excited am I! The Modesto Fitness and Racquet Club just invested over a one hundred thousand dollars in new equipment. They just got a whole lot of this, that and the other thing! OMG I think I’m going to faint!…………………………….................Fainted, OK, I’m back. I went in this evening to finish out my cardio for today and I was floored. All this new equipment is beautiful! I was so thrilled, that even though it wasn’t my lifting day, I just had to try out some of this new equipment. The new treadmills are nice and they have a softer floor to ease the impact of your run. The new lifting equipment has a variety of levels to create more or less resistance in your lift. WOW! If you haven’t been to the Modesto Fitness and Racquet Club lately, you need to check it OUT! Who am I, I’m just a workout maniac and a happy member. Stop by and get a free tour and tell them I sent you. Ask for Phil, AKA The Big Daddy! He Rocks! » read more

He’s a Superman from SPP
What a thrill to be part of a fun run & get to know some many nice folks this morning. I guess the happiest part of this run for me was that my friend came in 2nd in his age group! Way to go Doug! He recently kick the tobacco habit for running & IM so proud of him! I to was a smoker for over 20 years & quit smoking & started running in 2005. Actually it was more like walking. For me, leading by example are what true winners are all about. In 2004 I weighed in at 300lbs had a heart attack in 2005 I gave my heart 2 the Lord 100% & made him a promise. If he helped me with my addictions & weight problem; I would try to be a better example for his people. Folks, He’s kept his end of the bargain & IM sure as heck going to keep mine. See the 300 lbs pic at www.iwillliveforever.com 2 weeks ago I ran a 5K in 21.14 Today I ran it in 20.29 Thank you Jesus! It was a great pleasure to run with all who were there & invite you to visit my website. I am walking proof what exercise, nutrition & ones faith can bring! For those of you who are trying to kick the habit, Whatever it is!.. Alcohol, Tobacco, Weight loss “Whateverâ€? Remember! You didn’t gain it, learn how to smoke it or abuse it over night. It will take time and effort. How bad do you want it! Don’t give up & if you slip, don’t come down on yourself! Just keep trying. YOU CAN DO IT! » read more
