House of Floyd - Diligent recreation of the total Pink Floyd experience.

The live shows of Pink Floyd have set a new standard in the music industry with accompanying video and laser light technology. It is this extra added dimension that sets them apart from other great "live" rock performances. House of Floyd, a full production musical and visual tribute to Pink Floyd, was formed in early 2005. After an extensive search and audition process led by Mark Showalter, former saxophonist/keyboardist of The Gregg Allman Band, seven extremely talented musicians were assembled from all over the San Francisco Bay Area for their great ability, years of experience and love of Pink Floyd to form House of Floyd. The band has diligently recreated not only the sounds of all the great Pink Floyd albums, but it has also incorporated the video and lighting experience that live Pink Floyd performances are known for. You will be amazed at the accuracy of this re-creation of one of the greatest band in the history of rock and roll. The band members, Mark Showalter (lead vocals, keyboards, saxophone); Pat Potter (lead vocals, guitar); Lou Portela (bass guitar, vocals); Doug Canfield (drums); Bill Coonley (guitar, lapsteel, keyboards, vocals); Sheri Showalter (vocals); and Angie Montgomery (vocals); bring over 30 years each of musical experience to the Pink Floyd recreation. Coupled with six lasers, strobes, a fog machine, video editing, and a computerized light show, this promises to be an awesome show.
