Hey Modesto.. Looks like the Modesto Bee will be closing their printing press here in Modesto and your local paper will be coming from Sacramento. My phone is still on fire here, but IM trying to get the latest 411 on this for you as of now! Friends, Please pray that this isn’t so. The Modesto Bee at one time had about 700 employees under their wing. We just can’t afford to lose any more jobs here locally people..

Drag it through the Idol

I am sitting here downtown at Extreme Pizza and I just covered my "Drag it Through the Garden" pizza in fresh feta cheese. I am not a vegetarian by any means, but this pizza is incredible! After I leave here I will head home and fire up the old Tivo machine to watch American Idol. This is something that is new to me. I have never been a fan of the show, but I am acting as one of three local panel members that the Bee has chosen to review and follow the performances of the top 10 finalists this season.

It looks like Modesto Famous is creating quite a little buzz at the Modesto Bee today. The story about our site that was published today is riding high in the top five articles on www.modbee.com at number three. I am not sure if the story ever placed higher than that. This is the first time that I have checked. I hope that this creates more awareness for us in the community!
