A couple people have brought up some good questions. What does the 9/11 Cover-up have to do with Modesto or ModestoFamous? At first glance and without really thinking about it, the automatic response would most likely be nothing. Let's put it this way, Modesto is a city, and we are inside a county and we also reside inside a state and our state is inside the United States. So how does an event like 9/11 effect our city and therefore merit inclusion into ModestoFamous? I'm sure you can see where I'm going with this. Every federal law that is passed in this country is put into effect right here in our own Famous city of Modesto. Remember that horrendous bill that was passed called The USA Patriot, stripping your basic constitutional rights from you? The warrantless searches and seizures that can occur to anyone. They said this was for our safety, to save us from the "evil ones", the "big bad scary arabs, with their turbans and beards". If you do some simple research for yourself, you'll find out that it's all a big lie. We are not being attacked by some international terrorists, we are being attacked by high-up criminals inside our government. This isn't some bash on Bush argument either, because both sides of our popular political parties are corrupt, Kerry wouldn't save us either. We have to open our eyes and realize what is happening to us as a nation and even as a city.

Betsy Hart's catch-all explanation for 9/11 questions

Betsy Hart has formulated a catchy and convenient conspiracy theory for why so many people are asking serious questions about what happened on 9/11. We're all scared! Unfortunately, this lethargic leap of logic fails to address the requisition laid forth by Charlie Sheen last week - challenge us on the facts.

Hart was a guest on last week's Hannity and Colmes spot which highlighted Sheen's comments to The Alex Jones Show in which he outlined his serious doubts about the official story of 9/11.

"The threat of Islamic terrorism is so frightening, so unpredictable, so unknowable that in some ways it's easier and more manageable for some folks to think that our government is behind it all," writes Hart in a piece for Scripps Howard News Service.

Well, that explains it all for me! How convenient, now I can restore my unbridled trust in the all-loving government, watch American Idol and go back to sleep!

Perhaps Ms. Hart can explain to us how her theory, as it is presented with no supporting evidence whatsoever, answers the following questions.

- Does fear of Islamic terrorism answer why NORAD completely reversed its standard operating procedure on the day of 9/11?

- Does fear of Islamic terrorism answer why three steel buildings, one that was not hit by a plane, collapsed from fire damage for the first and only time in history?

- Does fear of Islamic terrorism answer why firefighters and WTC workers reported bombs going off inside the towers?

Tonight marks the first instance where those that question 9/11 were given a fair shake at voicing their opinions. While little can be said in just 10 minutes of coverage, it was at the very least a reasonable discussion and an important milestone for the 9/11 truth community. 911truth.org's media coordinator Mike Berger did a great job with the short time he was allotted while the host A.J. Hammer allowed for a good live discussion and avoided the all-to-familiar Bill O'Reilly style of 'news'.

Actor Charlie Sheen has joined a growing army of other highly credible public figures in questioning the official story of 9/11 and calling for a new independent investigation of the attack and the circumstances surrounding it.

Over the past two years, scores of highly regarded individuals have gone public to express their serious doubts about 9/11. These include former presidential advisor and CIA analyst Ray McGovern, the father of Reaganomics and former Assistant Secretary of the US Treasury Paul Craig Roberts, BYU physics Professor Steven Jones, former German defense minister Andreas von Buelow, former MI5 officer David Shayler, former Blair cabinet member Michael Meacher, former Chief Economist for the Department of Labor during President George W. Bush's first term Morgan Reynolds and many more.

Speaking to The Alex Jones Show on the GCN Radio Network, the star of current hit comedy show Two and a Half Men and dozens of movies including Platoon and Young Guns, Sheen elaborated on why he had problems believing the government's version of events.

Sheen agreed that the biggest conspiracy theory was put out by the government itself and prefaced his argument by quoting Theodore Roosevelt in stating, "That we are to stand by the President right or wrong is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public."

"We're not the conspiracy theorists on this particular issue," said Sheen.

"It seems to me like 19 amateurs with box cutters taking over four commercial airliners and hitting 75% of their targets, that feels like a conspiracy theory. It raises a lot of questions."

Sheen described the climate of acceptance for serious discussion about 9/11 as being far more fertile than it was a couple of years ago.
