Talked to Brook last night, at Cheroots on Tenth Street, downtown Modesto, getting some smokes, and been good to have Johnny and Kelly playing live on Thursdays, 9 to Midnight, but would love a turnout to see our guys.  Across from the Chartreuse Muse, where I go for the life drawing group, and its on the Art Walk Third Thursdays like we are at State Theatre, about the time we wrap Up,  MUSIC begins at Cheroots.  Catch them after the David Lynch double feature for Thursday Theme night at the State this week.

Here's the Eric Benson Presents, new September Blue Monday Jam schedule, with something added to the Clayton's Saturday Night menu, Saturday Night Music. I was down there again this evening, and great time again, see friends play like house band tonight Valley Rhythm Section, Big Earl, and that bands bassist, Chip Yeager, Penny Gail White, host Steve, various others in the jam line up, so this a good place to hang out, have a drink, relax, see Kyle Barker back in the patio seats, other keyboardists around, a trumpet or two, harp packing guys, and more.

Hero's sports bar and pub, where pizza served and home of St Stan's brewery, is sporadic in bookings, but nice place to play in, good sound if you bring it, and arrived having run into Big Earl last night, friend and former manager of band had tipped me off to the gig tonight, at Blue Monday jam.  So, blues through the week,  or at least Tuesday night.
