I am just writing to check in real quick. If you are winding down your day and looking to relax and enjoy some music, the Art and Wine Festival is happening downtown until 10 pm.
If you are a fan of the band, "Bowling for Soup," you will be able to catch them outside of Heroes (St. Stans) tonight. Opening bands will take to the stage at about 6 pm. This should be a great show! It is not real cool in my opinion that B93.1 is having the event in a parking lot, but hey...at least they finally got a band to actually show up after both Hootie and the Blowfish and Smashmouth bailed on them at the fair! » read more
Some Art NOtes, Allen Passalaqua, or AngryF featured by Chris Murphy in ModestoView this month on page 16, also has a show up at Prospect Theatre Project, can be viewed during poetry slam. Allen big on combining media, including music, as evidence Deva After Art Walk show with music on August 16 is my hero. He also dropped in on my first of the State Theatre art displays for Third thursday Art Walk, someone I've contacted to recruit some of you great artists out there to show with us, as the State Theatre will continue to do this.
