clix cafe

The last few days have been really interesting. My experience at Clix Cafe was very rewarding. We should all make an effort to stop in there for something to eat or a great coffee. This month two cafes in Modesto will shut down. I have no idea how the folks at Clix do it, but I really admire their dedication. I had no idea how much work went into working at a place like that. But they did not go easy on me. I made meals, poured drinks, scrubbed tables and helped customers. It was a constant juggling act.

I was at Clix Cafe on Coffee Road a while back and I could not help but notice how hard the lady behind the counter was working. In between serving drinks and making salads I had a chance to talk to her for a few minutes and I found out that she was the owner of the business.

Swing by Clix Cafe at 1442 Carpenter Road for an evening of interesting events this Saturday night. The fun starts at 7:30 pm with spoken word poetry with Verba2ude. If you are daring enough, bring your poetry skills with you for some open mic action.
