Hoar and his partner in crime, Victoria Murphree were recently arrested for committing a robbery of the McDonald's restaurant (I need a Big Mac, large fries and a pile o' cash please) on West main Street in Turlock. » read more

We have been busy here lately! This town never fails to amaze me. First we have all the hyphy problems and that turns into a race issue and now we have stupid kids beating the hell out of the homeless and laughing about it. I realize that every town has it's very own set of problems so there is no need to tell me that. But holy crap! Last night was crazy for this little fat man. I hit the ground running at the Stanislaus County Fair and plowed my way through an entire evening of craziness and mayhem. I think that the fried Snickers bar that I ate at the fair boosted my energy while it melted into my arteries. That thing was delicious and everyone should experience it once in their life but there should be a warning label on every one that is sold. » read more

In the nearly five years that I have lived here I have watched the population steadily grow. I have watched the retail sector explode and I have noticed that the smaller cities around us like Turlock, Oakdale and Riverbank seem to be snaking their way closer to our borders.
