thanks for coming out to the park yesterday

We, crew, me, JB, friends, family and all there, going to be there, had SummerFest tickets ( a few came on by to fill us in on Thurman Field) the walkers, nami stanislaus, art venue crew, our great stage and event crew this year, thank the folks who came out for Modesto Blues Festival, did the Virginia Corridor Walk, stopped by the park to check it out, enjoy the day, thank modesto famous, media, folks who helped make this year's festival come along as the vision JB wanted it to, sure helped me. And like to thank Farmer's Market for trying out some art vending and networking, and although our vendor spot didn't sell, sure took a lot of art walk maps, information, good comments, and expressed that our inclusion a good addition to the market I often shop. So a good day.

John Black, or JB of JB Presents wrote in this letter to the editor, regarding the United Community Walk, coming up June 14, with the Modesto Blues Festival. A lot of groups invited, this is community walk, nonprofits, service groups, you got a cause, or want to celebrate recovery, or help in our fundraising effort for NAMI Stanislaus, or want to raise awareness, or just the fun of walking or riding a bike on the new Virginia Corridor Trail, prior to enjoying some great Blues music in Graceada Park, come out and join us. NAMI Stanislaus Christmas Dinner, Dec 12

The National Alliance on Mental Illness, Stanislaus chapter, holding its annual Christmas Dinner, is doing something a little different.  NAMI Stanislaus is having dinner catered, by Executive Chef and Owner of Minnie's Restaurant in Modesto, Peter Mah, as part of Pete's new association as consultant with Turning Point Community Programs.
