We often worry about many things in our life that we can’t control. It’s one of our simplest flaws as human beings. I imagine that many people must think from my blogs here that I live my life problem free. That everything must come easy for me & my wife. This is far from the truth. We are no different then any other being on earth, we love, we cry, we laugh, work hard and we breath the same air you all breath.

It’s Sunday Morning and I’m getting caught up on the 411 in our Modesto Bee. As I browse through the Saturdays Modesto Bee, I noticed a wonderful piece on our new church that all at Saint Stanislaus have been working so hard to make a reality.

My Job! Food For Thought

If I wasn’t a DJ I would want to be a Ice Cream Man. How cool is that? First I would build me the coolest Ice Cream Van ever. My thoughts? I would have more different kinds of Ice Creams on it then any other. It would also have a plasma TV built in on one side with my favorite cartoons from the 70’s playing on it and on the other side, it would have a light up ice cream menu. It would defiantly have a monster sound system, tricked out rims and tires, flashy colors and a screaming logo. Yes my friends, it would be one tricked out Ice Cream Van! Although, I don’t think it would make me a million dollars. But that’s OK, I would be as happy with that job as I am being a DJ and entertaining people.

Déjà vu Our Parish is doing just fine

Last Tuesday the 11th the Modesto Bee reported what was yesterday’s news to our Parish..

Friends, our Parish is strong & the Lord has an ever so delicate plan for his house & parishioners in downtown Modesto. He truly Loves us. & yes we are disappointed that Father Arouji will be leaving, we will not doubt the will of God. He is only doing what’s best for father Arouje IM sure putting his health & his duties as a Priest first when it comes to our Parish. Our Parish has & is going through some wonderful experiences & changes right now. We are building a new house of worship out on Maze Blvd & helping more & more people in our community. IM sure dealing just alone with the responsibilities within our Catholic Community can be a challenging & stress full experience on it own. But to take on the building of our new church. WOW! IM sure anyone would need a break just after a couple of months.. Anywho, Last Sunday the Mass that I attend to was very full & I ask my fellow parishioners this.. In the words of President Kennedy. “Ask not what my Parish/God� can do for me, ask what I can do for my Parish/God� Ok so its slightly different, but the message is a good one.
