Dear President Bush:
I'm about to plan a little trip with my family and extended family, And I would like to ask you to assist me I'm going to walk across the border from the U.S. into Mexico, and I need to make a few arrangements. I know you can help with this.
So a lot of people that I know are really passionate about Immigration. I am not super passionate either way, but I do have some opinions that I would really like some feedback on. I want to understand better why people feel the way that they do.
In many schools across the state yesterday students walked out of class in protest of HR4437, the Border Protection, Anti-Terrorism, and Illegal Immigration Control Act of 2005.
Modesto protest has been small thus far but could get larger as the legislation gets closer to being passed. According to The Modesto Bee, Modesto High School Principal Melda Gaskins said a group of about 60 students said they would like to hold a forum today during lunch. Informed students would explain the legislation to other students to promote better understanding.
