Rio Arts Chalk Walk, and 2nd Annual Art Walk, Riverbank, Thurs Aug 28

Riverbank gets a plug from Joey Huestis email, as Rio Arts does second Art Walk and Chalk Walk sidewalk drawing contest. While I'm in the pr release, just told them I'm bringing drawing pad and pens as usual, but Joey Huestis, one of the photographers for Sonora Blues Festival among other things, and I did go out to this one last year. I"m still trying to get the easels back to Mistlin Gallery today, nearly a week after art walk, as had to drop off at Downtown Improvement District, as no room at the State Theatre after we finish art walk event, in case you noticed the gallery wasn't open last couple days. Probably working on those checks to artists who sold at art and wine fest. Farmer's Market art went well, and I'm taking out more of the note cards from my original art to sell in Riverbank, and Pride Festival's Jeff Carnegie caught me over at MJC new media arts center opening, and has a deal for local artists to show with them Sept 27 in Graceada Park. Will post his email next. I missed life drawing last night at Chartreuse Muse, only $10 on Tuesdays.

This is nonprofit gallery, has workshops as well, so if into photography, stop in, and check that out too, get on their gallery guru email list, which note below is from. Just a reminder there is still time to submit black and white photographs before the August 8 deadline. The image can be any form of processing - old school, or new. It just has to be black and white and those lovely shades of gray.

Ok. So my mothers a photographer and shes really good her pictures are different. she turns your pictures into art and shes really cheap shes been charging her clients under $50 but if it lasts more than one hour she charges 50 bucks an hour.(more for weddings*she throws in engagement photos for free*i think she chrges $200-300). very cheap!!
