A perfect ending to a wonderful night

Tonight I took my wife to have a wonderful dinner at Tasty Tai’s new location over in Village One Shopping Center. After working all day, it was a wonderful treat to be able to pull out the VW drop the top and slide in Queens CD of their Greatest Hits. What a wonderful night it was. The Tasty Tai is just that, and its new location is very nice and sheik to the eye. We started out with some of this, then fallowed with some of that and for dinner we finished out with a huge order of the other thing… Yummy! Yes, I don’t know exactly what we ordered, but it was wonderful! Me, I leave it up to my wife to hook us up with the goods; she always comes through with the best.. Oh, I did have some Ice tea with my dinner. Giggles..

IM sure you might have heard his music playing at Queen Bean off & on along with other Artist that came to the Aid for the Food 4 Music Show back in December. Because of their help, we gathered over 3000lbs of food for our friends in need this last holiday season. Thank you! We will also be featuring other Food 4 Music Artist CD’s for sale in the near future with 100% of the sale of their Music/CD’s going directly to the Artist. Hey’ it’s all about supporting our local flavor such as they have supported us.

What a great community we live in! You all have been very generous with your donations with coats and jackets for the Gospel Mission here in Modesto. Collectively we have gathered nearly three barrels of Sweaters, Jackets/Coats. Thank you! Thank you very much! There is still a need for them so if you find any more, I will take them. Please drop them off at Queen Bean Coffee House or you can take them to the Gospel Mission on Yosimite Ave in Modesto. Thanks again for your support & your business from a very grateful family.

So I considered driving to San Francisco a couple of times next week for the always entertaining indie music festival NOISE POP. I just bought my first brand new car and I've been excited about the opportunity to go to bay area shows without the risk of being stranded on the roadside. But then I see that not only do I have the regularly scheduled SHMOOSING-and-BOOSING-Modesto LOCAL-INDEPENDANT-MUSICAL-FANTASIA-"Off the Air" to attend on Wednesday night, but also the MAGICALLY gifted Radioactive Cauliflower is gracing the stage in Merced with friends from Boston on Monday. Monday night I will be at the Mainzer in Merced (see the posting on this site for more info) having a delicious brew and soaking in the local music that has become part of my lifeblood. Wednesday I will be at the Fat Cat in Modesto participating in what has become a gathering of what I like to call "people I enjoy seeing on a regular basis".
