I love great country music. Once I connected the name Sawyer Brown to familiar songs that I love I was more than excited that they were coming to our Fair! I love their version of “Keep Your Hands to Yourself;â€? it makes me want to get up and dance! They have such a wide range of music ranging from the inspirational “They Don’t Understandâ€? to the fun loving “Some Girls Do.â€? This is going to be such a good down home night; grab a corn-on-the-cob, sit in the shade and listen to some great country music- what could be better? » read more

Sawyer Brown has been creating daring country music for over two decades now. The Star Search champions have had hits like “Some Girls Do,? “The Race Is On,? “Step That Step,? “This Night Won’t Last Forever,? “The Walk? and their cover of Dave Dudley’s “Six Days On The Road.? Sawyer Brown has the ability to speak meaningfully to the country audience while showing them a real good time. The starting members named the band after a Nashville area street and had the goal of playing live as much as they could, anywhere that would have them. Now, the Grammy nominated and ACM award winning band is continuing their rein as the longest uninterrupted run as a band currently in country music.

I'm always fucking amazed, use the profanity for a purpose, when I read these arguments on a public blog site, where Mojo is pretty good loose let it flow editor, where you guys argue over My Music the only music, be it indie, metal, smashmouth, gangsta, hip hop, etc. It ain't, there is jazz, classical, alternative, new age, punk, rock classic, rock lite, christian pap smear, bit of jiggle music, hard core elevator music, gospel classics, etc, even music from other countries, other towns, other states, other universes than just, hate to remind you, this is only small town by comparison elsewhere in CA. Get a grip, this is better now than was when I got here. » read more
Not many people did as much for valley music as Buck Owens did. His string of 20 number one hits inspired songrwriters here and world-wide to grab a pen and take to the stage.
Today country music mourns a legend. The lights may get a bit dimmer at his club in Bakersfield, The Crystal Palace, but the music will continue to play on and inspire because Buck Owens would not have had it any other way. » read more
