Start the weekend off tonight with the Jon Valenti Band live at the Copper Rhino and then party on into the weekend. The Modesto Blues Festival is scheduled for Saturday at 1:00 at Graceada Park and B93.1's Summerfest will start up at noon on Saturday as well.

Join special guest bartenders, Cruise and Good of B93.1 tonight as they take over the bar at The Copper Rhino on 10th Street across from Brenden.

The Copper Rhino is out to prove that they are into live music and helping out local bands during these Thursday night Alternative Music shows. I'm going to try my best to get there and if you have never caught Built Like Alaska live, you should try to make it also.

Exactly one year to the day that Gary Granger fired Tammy Cruise and Angie Good, he himself has now left the building. Some say he was ousted. Some say he retired. But who really cares? The whole point is that maybe B93 will get a little bit of it's old pep back.

Just checking in and we are not doing any promotions with B93!

I just got back from the Off the Air show at The Fat Cat and it was great. I will write about it more tomorrow. But for now, the news that is hot is that Angie Good and Tammy Cruise were fired today one month before their contract was due to expire with B93.1 FM.
