Includes art at silent auction from local artists, central valley, bay area, seattle and more than 44 artists, 55 pieces of art up for bid.

Dr. Rose Parker to Read Excerpts from her Award-Winning Book

Dr. Rose Parker will read from her award-winning autobiography, "Beat Up, Beat Down, and Still Standing," on Friday, February 29 at 2 pm in the Bechtel Center. Parker made history in 2000 when she was released from a life sentence by former California Governor Gray Davis.

Blame Sally and Gabrielle Louise - Acoustic folk-rock tinged with Americana, Celtic and Latin

San Francisco's Blame Sally named themselves after a girlfriend who made one of the band members late for a rehearsal one day. Formed in 2000, Blame Sally is four women who contribute songs and arrangements, switch off lead vocals and trade instruments. Individually, Renee Harcourt (guitar, bass, banjo, lead vocals, background vocals), Monica Pasqual (piano, keyboard, accordion, melodica, lead vocals, background vocals), Jeri Jones (guitar, bass, dobro, background vocals), and Pam Delgado (percussion, lead vocals, background vocals) have long displayed stirring singer-songwriter gifts. Together they're a powerhouse unit, presenting outstanding lead vocals and harmonies.

The longest lasting of its kind, basicly you put your name into a hat and get selected onto a team. You dont actually dont eneter as a team, we provide one for you. Although this is an indivials tournament, nothing could be further from the truth. People from all walks of life come to Modesto and play in our one of a kind event.
