We, crew, me, JB, friends, family and all there, going to be there, had SummerFest tickets ( a few came on by to fill us in on Thurman Field) the walkers, nami stanislaus, art venue crew, our great stage and event crew this year, thank the folks who came out for Modesto Blues Festival, did the Virginia Corridor Walk, stopped by the park to check it out, enjoy the day, thank modesto famous, media, folks who helped make this year's festival come along as the vision JB wanted it to, sure helped me. And like to thank Farmer's Market for trying out some art vending and networking, and although our vendor spot didn't sell, sure took a lot of art walk maps, information, good comments, and expressed that our inclusion a good addition to the market I often shop. So a good day.

Hello Modesto Famous Readers. Some of you know that our nonprofit fundraiser choice for Modesto Blues Festival and United Community Walk, is NAMI Stanislaus, stands for National Alliance on Mental Illness. Its not the only volunteer group I work with on this topic, but in resuming my work in art, I won't deny, I've been a downtown area resident who has been in crisis before, such my friends, family noiced, and so here is something to note.

Thanks Efren for the Art is a good Father's Day Gift, and also for taping our NAMI Stanislaus and Modesto Blues Festival and United Community Walk segment on Sacramento and Company on Channel 10 yesterday morning. Seeking crafters, artisans, general merch, designers, tees, for vendor spots at Modesto Blues Festival, this is last call, we come up, June 14, 2008, with 1000 small flags for Flag Day and our united community walk, at Free Admission event.

Email from my friend Joyce with NAMI Stanislaus on their portion of the Modesto Blues FEstival United Community Walk, which will have other art, Recovery groups, friends, walkers of all sorts, remember Relay for Life is the following weekend (ask efren) and come out and join us. Have acoustic music lunch in the Bowl with Joe Barretta, then at 1 p.m, the Main Event, as the Modesto Blues Festival 2008 opens on stage, June 14, for FREE, FREE, FREE event.

Come on out for 10 am start of the United Community Walk and NAMI Stanislaus fundraiser portion of the blues festival, have a music treat for lunch, with Joe Barretta at Modesto Blues Festival in the Mancini Bowl area. Main Stage starts at 1 pm.

John Black, or JB of JB Presents wrote in this letter to the editor, regarding the United Community Walk, coming up June 14, with the Modesto Blues Festival. A lot of groups invited, this is community walk, nonprofits, service groups, you got a cause, or want to celebrate recovery, or help in our fundraising effort for NAMI Stanislaus, or want to raise awareness, or just the fun of walking or riding a bike on the new Virginia Corridor Trail, prior to enjoying some great Blues music in Graceada Park, come out and join us. A blue Monday walk. Some good news in emails for State Theatre art walk call for artists, such that I feel shows will be worth attending for the art.

Also, Commonality Show apparently will be on a Sunday at Centre Plaza, though Christine has yet to confirm all that, I've sent off the jpgs and glad to see that show progress to reality, and should be fun.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness, Stanislaus chapter, holding its annual Christmas Dinner, is doing something a little different.  NAMI Stanislaus is having dinner catered, by Executive Chef and Owner of Minnie's Restaurant in Modesto, Peter Mah, as part of Pete's new association as consultant with Turning Point Community Programs.
