holidays
Well the road trip was fine. Six of us trekked up the mountain to see my family for the holiday. We took extended family (firends) with us. It is nice for us all to have days off to get together. I am Native American and so I am conflicted about some of the holidays origins, but it is nice to get together with family.

My mom has a gorgeous cake on the table, a 23 lb. turkey in a roasting pan and a ton of food in the fridge waiting to get heated up and ravaged by our lucky family. Life is good today. My girls are on their way for the weekend and that to me is something to be truly, truly thankful for.
