Etouffee has a blues and bike show, Friday, JULY 25

Here's an email from James Rasmussen on Blues And Bikes show Friday at Etouffee Restaurant over across from Pierre's Salon, near McHenry Mansion, and across the street from Big Foot Carpet, and must be friends of Skip's music, as that's where you can by some tickets. The Nines

I heard through the grape vine that the new restaurant, called "The Nines" (where Sharkey's used to be), will be opening end of March/first of April and will be a steak and seafood place. Its supposed to be THE new restaurant in downtown Modesto. Apparently, they recruited the chef from Del Rio Country Club. I'm hearing rumors of an oyster bar and some incredible decor and ambiance... It will be nice to see the added element of more upscale dining and night life to the downtown scene. Can anyone verify the info or have anything else to share?
