I went out & got my flu shot today! Here is a friendly reminder to go get yours. Also, don’t for get to take your grandparents & or parents. It highly recommended that Children & Seniors get it every year! Sadly, to many times we hear in the news that the flew has claimed another life of an infant or a senior citizen. Makes some time to get it done ASAP and invite your grandparents to join you and make a lunch date out of it. You will be happy you did, & it just might save their life.

The Heat is ON

It’s a little after 10AM and my Air conditioner just kicked on! The heat is coming & by Wednesday it should be one Hot Mother Hubbard. Please be mindful of the heat; Please make sure your drinking plenty of water & give those seniors in your life a call. Let them know that the heat is on and they should take precautions now for this weeks scorcher. Also, Please! Please make sure our pets have plenty of fresh water and have a place to chill in a shaded area. Please..

Chessplayer in town, what to do for your birthday, AARP and other items

My brother Larry, still in top ten of US Chessplayers, former US champ 3 times visiting here from Boston, to see mom, and my birthday, has been taking a bit of time out from his tournament schedule, to revisit hardly his hometown as some have claimed, but where we moved to from Riverside, now 30 years ago, and see mom. Some of his schedule involves playing Golf with my brother who works at the City's parks dept. and he was so damned excited, scored his first birdie out in Escalon. Use that course beginners, they have been trying to drag me out there all week, since the used clubs showed up for my birthday, year 2 of my AARP eligibility.
