I've been handing out flyers on this event, and didn't see where the last one I posted is here so here is from the myspace blog of our Modesto Convention and Visitors Bureau on the Tour of California, leg 3, of the AmGen Bike race Feb 20, 2008

Stockton 99 Speedway closes after a 60 year run. The speedway is nolonger able to hold back the development of homes. I think we should take a moment to remember that as our valley grows and changes a lot of memoties are made.
