Good Morning Modesto! I Looooove Sundays! Well it’s about 8PM & IM excited to start my day. Last night I entertained another winter formal and the party was ON! I’ve worked with the students these Students before and they have really come along way with being known as one of the most difficult students to work with. Recently they paid me a huge complement. The last time my company DJ’ed their dance I sent them one of my younger DJ’s that Rocked the house! He’s, in my opinion and grand stand Hip Hop DJ. Well, for this winter formal, the students asked if I could be their DJ personally! What? WOW! I was so thrilled by their request that I busted out my walker and made the scene. “LOL" Lst night, I was so ON! I spun one of my best sets ever. The Winter Formal Rocked! Anywho, the reason for this blog isn’t really about blowing my own whistle, but to remind us all that our kids really need us to be there for them. Especially right now. Me, I don’t put up with ANY guff from the students while IM Djing and I will tell the kids how it is. I think they like that. With so many of our kids being part of the YES generation these days, I think it’s refreshing for them to hear the word NO from time to time. Still, the students know IM for real and if they ask, I will tell them. Dude! Chick! Slow down…. You have your whole life to be an adult. Enjoy your youth and your friends. There will be plenty of time to get your freak on and to play grownup. Ya feel me?
