The June Art Walk Maps are out at the various art walk locations, and via Downtown Improvement District, and the maps can be used during the full month, not just the Third Thursday event night, with some coupon specials, addresses and locations of the downtown galleries and businesses supporting the art walk.

Well, musicians seemed in short supply last night, if you were out on art walk, noticed reschedule or cancels, there is a virus around, and so if you stopped into see Dave Hanley at the State last night, found me talking to Rachel Renae and Hippie Dave, I was trying to get Rachel to sing without amp, go get her guitar, or start down the list of who's available on short notice. In case bonilla wafer noted a call from Rachel, that was us...... we called Mike with DAM, a number of others to no avail...

A little larger show, using the whole theatre this month. Music Guests headliner Rachel Renae at 5:30 pm, Dirty Monday in the theatre at around 7, lots of art, COLLECTIBLES also, as seemed a good time to do this. Art is free to view, but art is also for sale, at the State, and throughout the full Downtown Third Thursday Art Walk. Local Artists, good values, good art.

Thanks for coming out to Art Walk last night. Need to let Hippy Dave know that Commonality is doing a reschedule on her show, facility thing, will be coming up, but we had problems with printer, usual try and stock the maps last week, people take them........ and so as host of Art Walk at the State, John out from behind the box office handing out, State Theatre recent vintage, straight from Carl at Anderson Gallery, ORANGE as some of you think its dark after 5 pm, the most valuable item people hoarde, collect, store, THE MAPS......

The Tattoo Gallery is a tattoo shop/art gallery fusion that recently opened on McHenry Ave. in Modesto! They are located down near 5 points. The gallery features art from local artists, as well as the gallery's own artists. All of the tattoo artists are incredibly talented, and the shop has high standards for a clean, sterile environment. So anyone who is interested in art, tattoos, or both should definitely support this place and check it out!

Anti-social and Artist doesn't mesh anymore

Let's just say that I'm not exactly a social butterfly. I guess I'm one of the many artist stereotypes; brooding alone in my crappy little apartment. But I'm slowly discovering (much to my dismay) that you have to know people if you want to get your art out there.

I get tired of posting the old portfolio, thought I should illustrate I've done a few things since I broke my arm last year, and first commission from that a poster for Dave Hanley for the Hotel Utah show with f..king buckaroos and Chris Doud. Dave told me to post art on myspace blog, so add a few new ones, show you I still at times work in art.
