One of my favorite bands growing up was Sublime and I usually take any chance that I can to experience their music. Tonight, LBC (formerly Sublime Remembered) will take to the stage at the Fat Cat and perform some of Sublime's biggest hits. If you are a Sublime fan, this is one show that you would really regret missing.

Local band "NOT 4 NOTHIN" aka "N4N" has recently been added to the X-Fest bill. N4N will be playing on the "Hawk 104.1" stage at 8:30pm sharp. Not many local bands make a "main stage" during X-Fest. B

The music scene around this area is really producing some top notch acts lately! It seems like I am introduced to a new band nearly every week any more. That to me is proof that artists believe in the venues and fans in this area enough to really try to make their music known. Not too long ago I was told about a band called Third Wheel out of Waterford and from what I have heard from them so far, they are another band that could really take off if they keep focused and moving forward.

It is after 1:00 a.m. and I just got home from an evening downtown. I went out tonight primarily to meet a friend for a movie but I ended up having dinner and checking out a live show at the Fat Cat that my ears are still ringing from as well. I love that I can see a movie at a great theater, have sushi and see a concert all within a couple of blocks. This is really a cool little city that we live in.

Last night I ventured out to the Fat Cat with a friend to see the hit band, The Last Goodnight. The crowd was terribly small, but the bands that played really seemed to have a great time regardless of that fact. I love getting out to events like this because I get the opportunity to see a group that is flying up the charts as well as a handful of local bands. Last night one band in particular really brought down the house!
