If you have been holding off buying tickets for X-Fest because you are waiting on a weather report, you probably can go ahead and make that purchase now.

According to Weather.com, the weather for show-time should not exceed 100 degrees and by the time that Simple Plan hits the stage, it should only be slightly above 85 degrees! I really hope that stays on track! That would make for a very nice day.

It's another hot day here in Motown and if the weather report is correct, it should be about 98 degrees out there today. The rest of the week should not be as hot, but we should all stay cool no matter what and drink a ton of fluids. If you are really bored and feel like driving, you can catch Gwen Stefani tonight in Marysville. Tickets are still available.

The way we look at our environment has changed in the past few years. My mother drives a hybrid. I wish I did, but I do drive a Camry, which is not quite as bad as other cars. I wish my father drove a hybrid, and we won't mention what he drives.

Ok it is 9:20 on a bright and sunny Saturday and it is already hotter than hell outside. Now…what is there to do today in the valley? If only someone would throw a massive party laced with beer, a couple old school rappers, a 70’s mega-band and maybe even a country star to please all the farms folks. Yeah that would be cool. It’s 9:30 in the morning and it is already getting hot outside. That is a bad sign for those of us hoping to attend X-Fest this weekend. I spoke with Chris Ricci last night and he said that the heat could fade a bit by show time but I have my doubts.
