Today is the day! Are you going to be out at X-Fest? The line-up is pretty solid in my opinion and just about every type of music that you can imagine will be featured.

One of our favorite local artists, Jon Valenti just announced that he was called last minute to rock the Kat Country stage from 7:15 to 7:45. Try to get out and support Jon and all of the other great local talent that will be doing all they can to impress the 20,000 people expected to attend.

I just wanted to write in and wish everyone a happy 4th! I am still not totally sure what the heck I will be up to tomorrow, but I hope that you all have fun and stay safe. There will be a million police officers on the road and may other travelers, so drinking and driving should be avoided of course. Just enjoy the day and celebrate. Where are the best firework shows?

Smash Smouth Vocalist Steve Harwell does what he does best while battling personal demons.

Rumors are swirling amid the disclosure by promoter Chris Ricci that Smash Mouth has bowed out of X-fest this year. The lead singer of the band, Steve Harwell who has been known to fight an addiction to alcohol is thought to be taking time to seek help with that issue or a bipolar disorder that he also battles.
