Tommy Castro Blues at State Theatre, December 12, bring a can
Tommy Castro, State Theatre, Modesto
State Theatre, 1307 J Street, downtown Modesto. www.thestate.org
A longtime State favorite is returning Friday, Dec. 12 to rock the house with his own brand of soul-satisfying blues! Lauded by both B.B. King and Carlos Santana for his vocals, sound and hot guitar licks, Tommy Castro fuses rock, blues and Memphis soul into what Guitar magazine called, "…straightforward, grooving blues that'll get your feet moving." Be sure and get your feet moving to The State's box office because this is sure to be another sold-out performance. And don't forget to bring a canned good on the night of the show to donate to The Salvation Army. Last year, Tommy Castro's show helped us generate enough food to feed a dozen families in need and, with your help, we'd like to help dozens more this year.
