Login Blues, Art stuff
Here's last weeks blog again, am hoping techies fixed the log in function. To October 10, Valley Arts Association has their Fall Carraige and Art Show at Del Rio Theatre arts center on 108 and Third in Riverbank, and quite a nice show. Went to the reception, Scott Ferguson, Lori Snable, Suzanne Friedman, Ed Cesena and more on board or in winning categories. Lost that review trying to post after opening last Friday.
Three Tall Women, thought Grace Lieberman did well, nicely done by director Colton Dennis. Noted in Bee review, Grace's character 91, performed with script in hand, well, I live with older room mate always with notes in hand. At Any rate, this is Edward Albee's 2nd Pulitzer Prize winning play, and runs at Prospect Theatre to October 19, 2 pm, with special Thursday Oct 16 show. Subscriptions also available on Prospect Theater Project season.
Patterson should be reviewing its mural project now. Like the link Colton posted for State of California arts day.
Mistlin showing Three for Free this month. I have three in at that price. State Theatre will be off Art Walk for the MAMA Awards this month.
Chartreuse Muse will host the Beauty for Ashes art auction, local and Seattle, bay area artists benefits lifewind.org project for empowering women in underdeveloped countries. Oct 22 to October 25, artists on hand, silent auction, downtown on Tenth Street
Life drawing Tuesdays, only ten dollars, at Chartreuse Muse.
Ok, lets find out for Ruben if this posts this week.
