I Found The Fountain Of Youth

So I guess I stumbled onto the fountain of youth. Last night when I was DJ’ing a High School Dance, and young gal came up to me and requested “Yeah by Usher" I Laughed out load and said, sister are you for sure, that was so last Tuesday.. She said YEAH! Smiles
Still, I couldn’t believe she was asking for a song that was older then what I was serving up at the school dance..
My reply, “what?“ “YEAH?" “are you sure you want to hear YEAH by Usher" Sister, Ya know how old I was when that song came out.. She said ya, like 20?.. I smiled and said YEAH! YEAH!

Anywho, even though she made me smile, I still didn’t play it for her. Giggles..

2 WORDS.. Got Cardio!
Here’s the blow folks.. Exercising has been proven to extend your longevity & running is known to help you defy the laws of the ageing process. Recently I was tested for muscle mass, bone density, percentage of body fat and my metabolic age. My score, well lets just say it was pretty good.
But what really got my attention is that I have a metabolic rate of a 23 year old. WOW! It seems that exercising has more benefits then just wanting to live a healthier lifestyle. OK so nutrition and my spiritual faith go hand in hand with my training. Recently I upped my protein intake to 150grams a day and switched out to better carbs for more endurance.
Better Carbs! Me I go wheat when it comes to tortillas & pasta. Also, out of all the nuts out there, The Almond is King! Over the last month, I have been studying the food I eat and now I am making even better choices.. As some of you may know, my workouts are long and hard and I must fuel my body every 2 hours a day and put in at least 4000 calories a day.
The say knowledge is power friends and power comes from the food we eat. Within the last month I have gotten way leaner, faster & just feel stronger. Well, that’s the 411 here friends.. Make sure your making time for exercise! 3 times a week, 45 minutes minimal per workout. Oh! And always try to make the healthiest choices of what you put in your mouth.
