LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, September 3, 2008 – On Saturday, October 4, 2008 “X-Fest! Las Vegas� -- downtown’s largest, all-ages, outdoor rock festival – will bring a galaxy of top alternative, reggae, pop, rockabilly and whacked hip-hop entertainment to a six block festival grounds in the new Fremont East Entertainment District.

“This is going to be an incredible party at an affordable price,� said Chris Ricci, a partner in The Producing Group, the promoters of the festival. “Where else in Las Vegas can a $20 ticket enable you to party to top touring headliners, hot Las Vegas bands, and the biggest DJ’s in the industry?�

Sponsored by your Southern Nevada Scion Dealers and Miller Light, “X-Fest! Las Vegas� will put entertainment front and center in downtown’s new entertainment district and will feature the world’s largest disco and five headliner stages with continuous entertainment from 6 p.m. to midnight.

Headliners for X-Fest! Las Vegas include reggae, hip-hop sensation, Pepper, a Warped Tour regular whose critically acclaimed album, “Pink Crustaceans and Good Vibrations,� was released in July. They will be joined on the festival stages by The Reverend Horton Heat, the most popular psychobilly artist of our time, whose irreverent gonzo rock n’ roll show will get the party going; the psychedelic hip-hop punk rock band, Kottonmouth Kings; Kung Fu Records’ recording artists, The Vandals, whose humor and sarcasm have have also highlighted the Warped Tour; remixer and DJ, Richard Vission, a #1 solo artist on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart; rapper, DJ and comedian Biz Markie, a current cast member on Nick Cannon’s Wild n Out; King of Latin Freestyle, Stevie B, and Vanilla Ice, a Las Vegas favorite, whose adventurous hip-hop style has sold over 17 million albums. Joining these featured artists will be talented bands and DJs from the vibrant local Las Vegas scene, including The Stript, Leaving Springfield, Sien and Jack LaFleur with additional acts to be added.

The six-block festival grounds for “X-Fest! Las Vegas� will encompass Fremont Street from Las Vegas Blvd. to 8th St. for the entertainment zone and portions of 6th and 7th Streets for stages and entrances. Clubs within the festival grounds, including The Griffin, and Beauty Bar will be open during the festival. The Fremont East Entertainment District is a joint project of The City of Las Vegas, the Fremont East property owners and the Nevada Department of Transportation.

Day of show tickets will be available for $30 at the Las Vegas Blvd. entrance to the festival starting at 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 4.
