A little help from a friend...

Hello all it saddens me to tell you that Mojo is back in the hospital in ICU at the moment. I spoke with him late last night and he as always is more concerned keeping you guys up to date with the happenings in the area then himself so I am ghost writing for him today. So here goes it..whoops? is that a sentence? haha...

What a wild and diverse weekend downtown will be seeing in the next two days! From Bernadette Peters at the Gallo Center Opening Galla tonight to Flavor Flavs downtown block party in front of Fat Cat tomorrow. Tickets are still available for both events by the way!

I never in my life would put those two together in downtown Modesto..so obviously there is something for everyone and ANYONE to do! MJC is hosting an open house on Saturday to celebrate the newly renovated auditorium with a ribbon cutting with the legendary Carol Channing who I personally saw at concert in the park summer before last and she was fabulous! I can only hope I am as spry and perky at her age as she is..wow was she sparkly that night!

And last but not least tickets are now on sale for the ever-popular Edible Extravaganza at the Centre Plaza on Thursday Sept 4th. The tickets are $40 in advance and $50 at the door. This event is the major fundraiser for the Center for Human Service's and is sure to be FABULOUS as always!
