Friday night at Deva Cafe

A couple of our favorite bands are playing an Off the Air show tonight at Deva Cafe on J Street in Downtown Modesto and we really hope that you can make it out to support them. For only $5.00 per person (all ages) you will have the chance to experience the haunting sounds of Judith and Holofernes, The John Francis, Micol Cazzel and Not an Airplane.

Not an Airplane is actually a performer by the name of Nick Shattell. Shattell has recently added a new dimension to his music by adding a full band to the mix. I have yet to see Nick with the new band but I am sure that they are as great as he is alone. The lyrics that he writes are deep and passionate and his focus on music is more than inspiring.

I am not totally sure if I will make it out to Deva Cafe tonight, but I am sure that the turnout will be large as it always is for an Off the Air independent music and art show. The music will start at 8:00 but I would recommend that you arrive early for a good seat. While you are waiting enjoy a pint of beer, a glass of wine or a delicious coffee. Food will also be available.
