Prospect Theater Project Announces Open Auditions

Prospect Theater Project will hold auditions for the first two plays of its upcoming season on Saturday, July 26th from 9am-4pm.

Roles are available in Edward Albee’s "Three Tall Women" (opens 9/26/08) and Frederich Düerrenmatt,’s "The Physicists" (opens 11/21/08). There are multiple open roles for both men and women, and actors in the 30s-60s age range are especially encouraged to audition. Auditions for the last three shows in the season are to be held in the fall.

"Three Tall Women" (opens 9/26/08) needs a woman in the mid 20s-30s age range, a woman in the 50s age range, and a male in the 20s age range. Directed by Colton Dennis.

The rehearsal process for PTP productions lasts approximately 4-5 weeks, and performances extend over 4 weekends. Actors are paid a modest gas stipend and receive a free subscription to the 2008-2009 season.

Actors must bring a resume and a headshot, and be prepared for a cold reading.
