Modesto Art and Wine Festival, entry deadline extended to July 18

the deadline to enter the art and wine festival as an artist, has been extended to July 19. Festival is in August, and you can enter as a group of artists to display, just contact Kadie to find out how. jim

The Central California Art Association and Mistlin Gallery is now seeking artists for its 2008 Art and Wine Festival in downtown Modesto . 15,000+ people are expected to attend this event between 10AM and 10PM on August 16th. The event will feature not only art, but a large wine tasting area, a wide range of fine dining choices, a kids' area, Live Demonstrations, Music, and much more!

Booths for artists to sell their creations are available starting at $100. The application form is attached to this email, or to receive a hardcopy, contact Kadie Helton at 209.529.3369 or artcenter@ccartassn.org. Applications are due no later than July 18, 2008.

Also being sought are artists to provide live demonstrations in the designated Art and Wine Demonstration Area. Doing a demo is a great way to promote your art and possibly increase sales at your Art and Wine Booth. We also encourage demonstrators to lead workshops at the Mistlin Gallery in the months following the festival, and to use their live demonstrations to get class sign-ups.
