I’m heading to the front lines

I’m heading to the front lines

Well, it’s Friday morning and IM getting my battle gear together to head out this weekend to collectively fight cancer! I feel pretty good and my spirit is strong and I am determined to do the best I can for my community and for those who are battling with this dieses. Me, I will be up for 24 hours starting Saturday morning at 9AM till the closing ceremony on Sunday morning at 9AM. Will I get tired? Sure I will; Will I take my body to an extreme? Sure I will; Will I shed a tear at the luminary ceremony? For sure; Will I work hard to make sure everyone is having a great time; Most defiantly; will I lose my voice by Sunday morning? Guaranteed. For me, I look at it as being in an iron man completion for life and the true winners that are in this fight with me are the ones who are suffering from this terrible dieses. They are the one’s who still find the energy to help their kids with their homework after kimo.. They are the ones who still sport a smile to their loved ones when they are in pain; They are the ones that we are fighting for! Please come out and join me tomorrow Modesto!
Saturday June 21st at Johansen High School in Modesto. It’s The American Cancer Society Relay for Life.

Causalities of the war..

This is the hardest part of the relay for me… The luminary ceremony.. Here we see so many that have fallen from cancer.. Soldiers we are out here, fighting for you.. Fight for your children so that one day we may never hear the words, “you have cancer wont you please help..

That’s some great killer tan

WOW Just got in from the Relay for Life Modesto and I walked in with what I thought was a Killer Tan. Turned out it was just a good layer of dirt that was on me. Giggles.. I feel so earthy .. Smiles..
Incredible, Outside for 24 hours plus and my spf 40 sun block did a great job keeping me from getting burned. Well, so much for my great tan here. LOL NO big deal..
Last I heard, our Relay raised over four hundred thousand dollars and it’s still coming in. Thanks you all! Gong to hit the showers now and dust off my killer tan . Then I think I will relax with my morning bee paper. Who knows, I just might take in a 10K run later. Ya, as long as I get in a nap, some quality time with my wife, dogs and some Scoody Doo on DVD. It’s time to rejoice and give thanks.
Gods Love Everyone, you all did good..
I love Modesto
